This brush features strong stainless steel bristles in a smooth shaped wooden handle. Used to reduce the risk of contaminating a stainless steel weld, these brushes are available with 3, 4 or 5 rows. These products are used in the cleaning of parent metal in preparation for welding, and to sweep away weld slag and spatter after welding. Gas UK offer 3/4/5-row wire brushes in two models; a mild steel bristled version and a version with stainless steel bristles. The latter is used to greater reduce the chances of a stainless steel weld becoming contaminated. The long handled converging bristle models are useful for providing greater access to hard-to-reach weld areas.
