Argon 15 - 10 Litre
This three component mixture designed for maximum performance and ease of use giving it a high welder acceptance so reducing the instances of weld defects. Ideal for semi-automatic, automatic and robotic applications, the gas produces smooth flat welds with good penetration and sidewallfusion as well as low spatter reducing the need for rework and increasing productivity. Welding speeds are high over a wide range of welding conditions making it the first choice product when productivity and low levels of distortion important.
Our Argon 15 is a proven mixture offering the highest quality, meeting or exceeding ISO 14175:2008 standards.
Advantages
- Produces a stiff arc with a broad heat flow. Low spatter and a good penetration profile make it an excellent choice for quality and economy in general engineering applications.
- Provides good welding performance across a wide range of applications and welding parameters.
- Wide operating envelope makes it easier to set welding conditions when MIG welding.
- Produces minimal spatter, keeping welding nozzles cleaner.
Applications
- Specially formulated for MIG welding sheet and thin sections of steel between 2mm and 12mm thick.
- Can be used on mild steel sections thinner than 2mm and thicker than 12mm but care must be taken to ensure the weld integrity is not compromised.
- Can be used in a wide range of applications from light to medium plate fabrication, structural steel works, bridgework, vehicle manufacture and general fabrication.
- Ideal for dip, pulse and spray-transfer applications.
- Suitable for pipe and tube joining - can be used in all welding positions.
- Can be used in manual, robotic or automatic applications where clean nozzles reduce downtime and provide cost-efficiencies.
Fabrications
- (MIG) Carbon Steel
Optimum thickness range (mm) 2 to 12
